Re: WiredSurf
Hi Richard,
Thank you for coming here to express WiredSurf's position. It is very much appreciated. I was an ardent supporter of WiredSurf, too. I have the same sentiments as Jude does.
If you start refunding people without requiring them to spend funds first, I will be more than happy to move this thread back to the discussion folder. We'll hold off on a WiredSurf article until things are more concrete.
Thanks,
Sharon

Lost Money? Past Member Note
Thread
Quote:
If you were a past Wired Surf member and lost money (meaning, add up your upgrades, subtract the payments received, that equals the total loss), please do the following immediately:
Open a ticket at our help desk: Wired Network Inc - Powered By Kayako eSupport in the PAST MEMBERS section.
In your ticket include your previous Wired Surf username, your current one (if it's different), your email address, the amount you lost AND the E-gold number you used previously as well as the one you used now.
Please do this right away, or as soon as you can.
Thank you,

These types of steps are not needed. Richard, you stated you have the previous database, why make people sign up for a refund you can find out on your own with your own Database? Just does not make sense.

Re: WiredSurf
Yeh that evidence was found back in the middle of last year - by me actually And the interesting thing is, within 48 hours of that info being posted, the whois info was hidden. I've actually still got the screenshots I took at the time.
I remember back just after the days of PaidResponse - I was talking to "Aaron" when he was supposedly out of the industry (just after he had finished running Surf-Ice in my opinion) and I happened to mentioned the new big surfs out there. There was WiredSurf, Compact Surfing, and Pheonix Surf I think. He said he didnt really follow them anymore, but he was thinking of putting some in WiredSurf, and strongly *encouraged* me to do the same. (i didn't)
Obviously I can't prove it conclusively, but my own mind is certainly made up on this one. I also picked up this when it came free, just because I was pissed off at him....well and the fact it had a PR of 4 and I was thinking of using it in a blog project.
Yeh, I had a chip on my shoulder over that one if you couldn't already tell!

Man, simon...where were you when I needed you? I have been digging for a few hours searching for links between the two. My next venture is to actually locate Aaron Bowering.

Re: WiredSurf
I was a member of WiredSurf too but fortunately, I made profit before they turned to scam. But in fact, we don't know here if it's the same runner. On internet we always remain anonymous.
Of course, I don't recommend ppl to invest there.

Damn, I think I had my psychic powers set to off that day! Seriously though, I think I posted it on a HYIP Discussion thread, but by that time people were moving on from WiredSurf so it never really got noticed. Good luck on tracking him down, I got told lots of different things at the time - Canada, Kansas, California (and of course New York) - but I have no idea where the truth lies.
Btw, I just noticed this, it screams "Aaron" the way it is written (especially the bit about not being flashy or letting success get to his head), but of course I could well be reading into things that aren't there

Re: WiredSurf
Drunk, if you can see the whois archives, can you see when Wired Surf.com was transferred or purchased recently?
Simon, tsk, tsk - you should know better...

Re: WiredSurf
Transferred to what? From a rackspace server to a name-services server and then back to wirednetwork servers? Your records haven't change since the beginning when there was a different name in the beginning
